A new mineral policy will be prepared soon for the development of the mineral sector in Rajasthan. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given instructions in this regard. Gehlot has given information about this by tweeting.
In the review meeting of the Department of Mines and Earth Sciences through video conference, he directed that a new mineral policy should be prepared soon for the development of the mineral sector in the state so that investment and work in this sector would be easier. There is immense potential for the development of the mining sector in Rajasthan.
He tweeted that the department should identify new mining blocks in the state and prepare a plan for allotment through e-auction. It is the effort of the State Government to identify new mining blocks for the exploration of various minerals, through which huge employment opportunities can be created, the economic condition of the state should also be strengthened.
Mine operators should follow the safety standards keeping in mind the health and safety of the workers working in the mining areas. Many times, in its absence, mining workers become victims of serious health problems by suffering from deadly diseases like silicosis.
