After getting permission from the Uttar Pradesh government to reopen theaters and multiplexes, the entertainment industry in the state is gearing up to woo the audience. The government has permitted the reopening of conditional theaters, theaters and multiplexes from 15 October, but preparations are being made to reopen in the provincial capital on Friday 16 October to entice audiences on weekends.
Rishi Mishra, assistant manager of Wave Multiplex in Gomti Nagar told 'Bhasha', "All the 35 employees and manager level officers of the multiplex are being investigated by COVID-19 since Wednesday. Only transition-free workers will come to work. Theaters / screens will be sanitized after each show. It will be mandatory for all employees to wear masks and gloves.
"We will start our two-screen theater from October 16," said Rajesh Tandon, manager of Navelty Cinema, located in Lalbagh area of the city. Employees' COVID-19 has been investigated today and the report will be out by tomorrow. In the meantime, we will promote online ticket booking. ”Dinesh Kumar Singh, manager of another theater, Shubham, said,“ COVID-19 is being investigated by all the employees, after that it will take two days to prepare. We will start the show on October 16. ''
With permission to open theaters etc., the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh has issued instructions in the state on Tuesday as per the Central Government guidelines.
Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari on Tuesday issued directions to all the Mandalayuktas, Additional Director General of Police Zone, all Inspector General of Police and Deputy Inspector General of Police Range, District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police, Lucknow and Gautam Budh Nagar. The mandate instructs that action will be taken under the relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and Indian Penal Legislation in the event of a violation of the guidelines.
