The peak of the second wave of corona in India slows down! But the situation in 9 states is still worrisome

There has been a steady decline in new infections of the corona after May seven. The IIT model is showing that the peak of the second wave has passed. The infection has not increased in the past week. The number is decreasing, indicating that the rate of infection has stabilized. Therefore, the data for the next few days will be able to clear the situation completely.

According to the Ministry of Health, on May 7, the highest number of 4,14,188 new infections of Corona were reported in the country. After that, the figure has remained low. But there are more positive signs with these figures. For example, in 18 states representing about 60-65 percent of the country's population, the rate of infection has been stable or decreasing for the past one week. There are only nine states and union territories where there is still a trend of growth.

Experts are also of the opinion that as infections continue to increase in many states, the number may remain high despite a decrease in new infections for the next few months.

Corona infection is under control in Maharashtra, Karnataka, UP, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Telangana, Jammu, Goa, Chandigarh, Ladakh.

The states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Punjab, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Puducherry, and Manipur still remain worrying.
