A nurse in a government hospital in Tamil Nadu cut off the thumb of a newborn baby while removing the Vigo. Dr G Ravikumar, Dean of Thanjavur Government Medical College said on Tuesday when the nurse was removing Vigo from the child's hand with scissors, the child started trembling. Due to this, the upper part of his thumb was cut from the middle.

The nurse has been sent on leave and appropriate action will be taken based on the result of the test. The girl's father said, "Due to the nurse, my girl's thumb was amputated. Appropriate action should be taken against him.

Son kept mother locked in toilet for two weeks

At the same time, a shocking case of human cruelty came to light from Tamil Nadu, where a 95-year-old woman was starved by her son for two weeks in Salem district and locked in the toilet at home. The police officer said on Tuesday, when the neighbors heard the weak cries of the woman calling for help, they informed the district administration about it. He was then rescued on Sunday.

According to police, the woman, a mother of four, was taken to an NGO, where she was provided food and is undergoing treatment. The woman identified as Radha saved her life by running water in the toilet for so many days. The woman refused to file a complaint against her son despite such inhuman treatment meted out to her.
