Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple: Celebration of divine moonlight and Chappanbhog on Sharad Purnima

Devotees will be able to enjoy the sight of Divya Chandralok and Chappan Bhog on Sharad Purnima in the Sri Krishna Birthplace Temple complex in Mathura. Festival preparations are being finalized in the temple. Sharad Purnima Festival will be celebrated on 31 October in the temple.


The Joint Chief Executive Officer of the institute, Rajiv Srivastava said that the Sharad Purnima Festival will be inaugurated on Saturday at 8.30 am by Shri Panchgavya Abhishek of Shrigiriraj Ji under the aegis of Sri Krishna Janmasthana Seva Sansthan.


There will be a sadhuswa at 12 noon in the field of food. Kheer Prasad will be distributed by Shri Krishna Seva Mandal from 6:30 pm. From five o'clock in the evening, there will be a vision of the divine Chappanbhog being offered to Shri Girirajji, who is sitting in the middle of Gocharan Leela.


Grand Chandralok will be built in Keshavdev temple

He informed that before this, Keshavdev Temple, located at the birthplace, will be made a traditional grand Chandralok on the occasion of Sharad Purnima. Visiting the devotees while sitting in this divine moonlight. The event will end at 9:30 pm with the Mahashayan Aarti of Lord Krishna under the Maharas program.

The entry of the devotees will be done from the Keshavdev Gate by 9:30 pm. Atul Shorawala, Murarilala Verma, Omprakash Pandey, Banwari Lal Jain, Naveen Tayal, Himanshu Agarwal, Pradeep Gupta, Vijay Bansal, Kanhaiya Lal are collaborating to make the festival a success.
