Rajasthan: father-son were putting IPL on, three arrested with cash of 5 lakhs


Ever since the IPL started, the police have intensified their action and are catching bookies. In this episode, the police have taken a big action and in Niwai of Tonk district, the police have arrested three people, including father and son, on the IPL. 5,63,650 in cash has been recovered from them. Police have also recovered from them a book of more than 15 lakh rupees. All the three accused are residents of Niwai. The accused used to make online speculation by luring people of huge profits.

Police said on Friday that a tip was received for the imposition of an IPL match in Naiwai's Butcher Street. On this, a special police team was formed on the instructions of Tonk SP Omprakash. The police team raided a house in Butcher street, where three people were arrested while stalking.

Police arrested Deepak Kumar (38), Naresh Kumar (63), and Ghanshyam (52). According to the police, all the three accused were in a room on the roof of the house on a mobile cricket match between the Rajasthan and Hyderabad team. The police have seized 21 mobiles, laptops, 15 lakh 20 thousand 280 accounts, and a scooty account of them.
