National Testing Agency (NTA) Director-General Vineet Joshi on Saturday appealed to students and parents to beware of fake people and phone calls implicating them to get medical seats.
The loss director appealed to students and parents to beware of fake calls
NTA has issued a public notice saying that NTA or any of its officers or personnel cannot get a medical seat to a student. NTA is the only exam organizer organization formed by the Central Government. Its job is to organize the results of NEET 2020 and submit the sealed merit list to the Union Health Ministry. Thereafter, there is no intervention or work of NTA in the counseling held for the allocation of seats on the basis of NEET UG 2020 merit.
Will complain to the Noida police today
According to the NTA management, on Sunday they will give a written complaint in this regard to the Noida Police. Such calls have been made to students in some places. Based on this, a full investigation will be done by the police.
NTA has told students and parents that it conducts entrance exams for various universities and institutions. The name, roll number, mobile number, or email ID of the students is not available with any of their personnel or officers as it is all with another agency of the government. They have no knowledge of any student. So if anyone assures to give a seat, it is fake. If you get such a phone or message, then inform him or complain to NTA or the police.
