Mask will come as soon as you put two rupees in the vending machine, started in Hubli, Karnataka


To prevent covid-19, as part of the efforts being made across the state, Hubli Dharwad Municipal Corporation has set up vending machines with the help of an NGO which will provide masks to the people at low cost in public places. Such vending machines are mainly installed in markets, bus terminals, and KIMS Hospital here. Given the threat of epidemic, the state government has made it mandatory for people to wear masks.

Hubli Dharwad Municipal Corporation commissioner Suresh Sosal said, “Masks have been made mandatory for everyone these days. There is a provision to be punished under the Epidemic Act without seeing the mask. Not everyone can afford the mask here. Keeping this in view, the corporation decided to install vending machines. He told that people will put a coin of Rs 2 in it and they will get a surgical mask. 100 masks will be inserted into the machine at a time and it will also have a display showing the number of masks. He said that there is a good response for the machine which has been installed in collaboration with the NGO Young Indians.

This is the condition of corona infection in the country

On Friday, 2,290 new infections were identified here and 68 people died. The total number of infected in the state so far is 28,67,158 and the death toll is 35,731. There have been 1206 new deaths due to corona infection in the country in 24 hours and 42,766 new infections have been identified. After this data released by the Ministry of Health, so far the total number of corona infections in the country has gone up to 3,07,95,716 and the death toll has gone up to 4,07,145. According to the ministry, the number of people who have recovered from the infection so far is 2,99,33,538, while treatment of 4,55,033 infected people is going on in the country.
