Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said today that the state government is preparing to bring a bill prohibiting marriage for conversion in the state in the upcoming session of the assembly.
Mr. Mishra gave this information via Twitter after a discussion with the media here. He said that the proclamation of conversion was a non-bailable offense and a provision of five years rigorous punishment is being made to the main accused and its participants. Parliamentary Affairs Minister also Mr. Mishra said that under the Madhya Pradesh Religious Freedom Bill 2020, the proposed law is also making provision to declare marriage to be done by inducement or coercion for 'Lavjihad' Yani conversion.
Mr. Mishra said that Rajiv Saxena, the main accused in the AgustaWestland scam, has clearly taken the name of the son of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Now Mr. Kamal Nath should come forward and clear the situation about the allegations against his son.
He also said that Congress has no future left under the leadership of the Gandhi family. He is sure to be defeated.
