The Union Health Ministry said that there are still some districts in the country where the positivity rate of corona cases is more than 10 percent. Mainly Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Kerala, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim, Odisha, Nagaland have higher positivity rates. If more infections are seen in some districts, then we have to assume that there is still a second wave of corona in some areas. The ministry said that during the second wave, there is a decline in new cases of corona in the country. Average daily new cases have come down from 3,89,803 between May 1 and 7 to 40,420 between July 3 and 6.
