The traffic police have started taking drastic steps since the Modi Government implemented the amended Motor Vehicle Act. But the Uttar Pradesh Traffic Department has issued a letter ordering the traffic police not to stop the vehicles just for checking the documents. Which is very good news for the people.
This decision has been taken by the Uttar Pradesh Traffic Department due to a recent incident. Let me tell you that an incident came up a few days ago. In which a 35-year-old man from Noida was stopped by the police for checking vehicle documents. Due to which he died from a heart attack. After which the traffic department has issued this order to all the SSP and SP of the state.
New order issued
It has been said in the order that the traffic police should ensure that those vehicles are caught violating the rules. Only those should be investigated. The letter issued by DIG Traffic Rajesh Modak has asked all the SSP and SP of the state to inform the officers under it about this order. After the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Act, many such reports have come to light in which people are being unnecessarily harassed.
