In Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi, an FIR has been registered against Congress nominee Ajay Kumar Lallu, including 10 nominees and about 150 unidentified people for carrying out 'mass dialogue' program in violation of the restrictions issued in the district under the corona epidemic.
Police sources said that the alleged 'Jan Samvad' program was organized on Monday at Balika Madse in Katehar in Jaitpura area. In the meantime, an FIR has been registered against the violators of pre-existing precautions and restrictions in view of the Korana epidemic. It is alleged that neither physical distance was taken care of nor masks were installed. The meeting was held in an illegal manner without permission.
He has alleged that the event was organized by Haji Maqbool Haasmi, the weaver fraternity Tanjim fourteen, in which many prominent Congress leaders including Mr. Lallu and former MLA Ajay Rai were involved. Those involved in the program violated Section-144 of the Indian Penal Procedure Code and the Pandemic Act 1897 and the Disaster Management Act-2005. On Monday evening, an FIR was registered against ten nominated and 150 unidentified people in this case.
Mr. Lallu, who was involved in this 'mass dialogue' organized on the problem of weavers, had accused the state's Yogi Adityanath government of misleading the public and said that there is a 'jungle raj' in the state. The intentions of criminals are high and due to continuous employment opportunities, living for the common people remains a major challenge. He had made many allegations, including snatching their livelihood by creating other problems including costly electricity for the weavers.
