Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader Indresh Kumar on Tuesday attacked former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti and said that both of them should go to China and Pakistan.
Mr. Kumar said this while commenting on the statement of these two leaders (Farooq and Mehbooba) to restore the special status of the state (Article 370). He came here to attend the function of the RSS Muslim Forum. He said, "It would have been better if those people (Farooq and Mehbooba) had left India and Kashmir and stayed wherever they were. Jammu and Kashmir was and will remain, an integral part of India. ''
He said that at the time of the abolition of the special state status of Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2019, when the central government had arrested Mehbooba and Abdullah, there was peace in the state. He said on the issue of inclusion in the Congress's Gupt Manifesto, "It shows that the party does not stand with the unity and integrity of the country."
