Earthquake tremors were felt in the Kutch district of Gujarat on Wednesday afternoon. The earthquake intensity was 4.1. An official of the Gandhinagar-based Seismic Research Institute (ISR) said that the earthquake occurred at 2.09 pm. Its center was seven kilometers north of Dudhai in Kutch.
The district administration said that there was no loss of life or property during this period. Earlier on Wednesday morning, a 2.3-magnitude earthquake was felt in the Jamnagar district of Saurashtra region. Its center was 19 km east-north from Lalpur in Jamnagar.
