Councilor Tahir Hussain, accused of Delhi violence, came to Delhi 20 years ago to work. Within a few years, he became a big businessman and also made a foray into politics. After that, he became a corporator.

Tahir Hussain, resident of Paurara village in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, came to Delhi about 20 years ago. Tahir is the eldest of five brothers. One of his brothers runs a school in the village.

Shortly after Tahir moved to Delhi, his father, Kallan, along with the Saifi family, moved to a son in Delhi. Sources reveal that he now has some land in the village. Tahir also sold his ancestral house in the village.

Tahir's business in Delhi was doing well. During this time, he started trying his hand in politics too. He contested the election by taking the corporator's ticket and won. Tahir is accused of spreading violence in Delhi and the police have registered a case against him in several serious sections including murder. Police have sent him a notice to join the investigation.

A case of murder, arson, and violence was registered at Dayalpur police station against Aam Aadmi Party corporator Tahir Hussain on Thursday. After the killing of IB jawan Ankit Sharma, his family accused Tahir of killing him.

At the same time, the party has also suspended Tahir. Till the charge against him is investigated and he does not come out cleanly, he will remain suspended from primary membership.
