According to data shared by the Health Department, 19,486 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Delhi on Friday. At the same time, 141 people have died. The cases are increasing day by day.

According to an advisory issued by the university, there are currently 64 cases of Kovid-19 on the JNU campus. At the same time, a total of 322 cases have been reported by the university since March last year, while five people have died. Therefore, JNU said that the virus can spread rapidly in hostels, messes, and libraries. In such a situation, keeping in mind the safety and health of the students and the residents of the campus, students are advised to return to their homes as much as possible. This will keep them safe with their family. With this, the spread of Kovid-19 will also be stopped.

JNU recently gave a lot of support to the students of MPhil, Ph.D., and MTech. According to this, now the students can submit the thesis under this by December 31, 2021. The university has given 6 months more time to the students. According to the report, the university had extended the time till June 30 to submit the papers, extending the deadline in December 2020, last year. But after that in a notice issued on 9 April, the university has announced that MPhil, MTech, and Ph.D. students will be able to submit their thesis by 31 December this year.
