Congress got a big setback before the UP assembly elections, now this veteran joined BJP

Congress has suffered a major setback before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. This blow to Congress has come with former Union Minister Jitin Prasada joining the Bharatiya Janata Party today. Jitin Prasad, one of the veteran Congress leaders, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and BJP MP Anil Baluni.

According to reports, before joining BJP, a veteran leader from UP Jitin Prasad also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. After joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, Jitin Prasada said that he has taken this decision very carefully. During this, he even said that if there is any real political party in the country today, it is the BJP, which is institutional, the rest of the parties are individual.

It is worth noting that earlier Jyotiraditya Scindia, the veteran leader of Madhya Pradesh, had given a big blow to the Congress by joining the BJP. The Congress government in Madhya Pradesh fell because of Jyotiraditya Scindia.
