BJP worker shoot dead ahead of PM Modi's Bhuvneshwar Rally


Before the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Odisha, the Bharatiya Janata Party worker was shot dead here. The Khordha Mandal president, Manguli Jena, was shot by two bike riders, the BJP has now called Khurda bandh from 8 am to 2 pm.

This time there is a direct battle between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Biju Janata Dal in Odisha. Meanwhile, it is astonishing to see the issue of political violence.

Sources said, two bike-borne miscreants arrived at the party office and opened fire at Manguli and fled the spot.

Manguli was immediately taken to Khurda district headquarters hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.

The motive behind this is not yet clear. On Sunday evening, he had come to BJP's MLA candidate Kalu Khandayatray for discussion on party work. According to Kalu, they were discussing something standing near the party office. It was about 11 pm. Two bike rider arrived and one of them fired two rounds and escaped from the spot.
