Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP MPs on Thursday on the death anniversary of party ideologue Deendayal Upadhyay. He tweeted, 'Deendayalji's life and his mission inspire all of us. On his death anniversary, I will address BJP MPs on February 11.


The BJP celebrates Upadhyay's death anniversary as 'Dedication Day'. He was a senior official of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was also the president of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh. Bharatiya Jan Sangh came into existence later as the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is also called the father of the BJP.


Pandit Deendayal was born on 25 September 1916. He was a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was also the President of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He was an advocate of an inclusive ideology that wanted a strong and strong India. Apart from politics, he also had a keen interest in literature. He wrote several articles in Hindi and English languages, which were published in various journals and magazines. He gave an ideology called Integral Humanism, under which different cultures should work together to form a strong nation.
