The PAN card is an essential document that is used for many purposes. It is compact and can easily fit in a purse. But if you have lost it or damaged it, and want to get it reprinted, you can copy your PAN card for just Rs 50.

The PAN card is issued by the Income Tax Department through two agencies - UTIITSL and NSDL-TIN. You can reprint it again from either of the two agencies, depending on who released your document.

In this way get your PAN CARD reprinted

Log on to the NSDL or UTIITSL website and click on the "Reprint PAN Card" option. By using this service, you can get your PAN card again. However, use it only if you do not have to make any changes to your current pan card.

NSDL and UTIITSL charge a fee of Rs 50 for delivering a PAN card anywhere in India, whereas for those living outside the country, the fee is Rs 950.

To reprint the PAN card, you will have to provide your PAN number and date of birth. Aadhaar card number is also asked by NSDL as it is mandatory to link PAN and Aadhaar.

As per the new income tax rules, you do not need a hard copy of your PAN card while getting the reprint. A soft copy can also make your work, provided it is not a scanned image.
