Union Home Minister Amit Shah will start the fourth phase of BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra' from Cooch Behar on Thursday in view of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal and will also address a public meeting. In a statement issued by the BJP, the party's chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said that Shah will address the public meeting at Thakurbari Maidan.
He told that in the evening the Union Home Minister will also visit the Science City Auditorium in Kolkata, where he will address the meeting of the party's social media volunteers. It is worth mentioning that earlier Shah's tour of West Bengal was postponed due to the violence in the tractor parade of farmers on Republic Day in Delhi.
Earlier on Tuesday, BJP President JP Nadda gave the green signal to two 'Parivartan Yatra'. One from Chillar Math in Tarapith temple and the other from Lalgarh Sajib Sangha Maidan in Jhargram. The BJP has planned to carry out 'Parivartan Yatra' in five phases to reach all 294 assembly seats in West Bengal.
