Ashok Gehlot on Friday said during a discussion with locust control collectors, grasshopper warning organizations, and agriculture department officials through video conferences that locust outbreaks had caused major losses to farmers last year. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, fearing that the locust invasion would be more intense than earlier this year, said that in such a situation, we will have to face this challenge with full efficiency.
In this regard, Ashok Gehlot said that in the past, he had attracted the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this matter. He said that the work of the locust warning organization is under the center, in such a situation, the central government should strengthen it and provide necessary resources.
It is noteworthy that in Rajasthan, the coronavirus has also caused great problems. The number of people infected with this virus in the state is continuously increasing. Coronas patients are getting more numbers after the relaxation of lockdown.
