On the statement made by the National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval at a religious function in Rishikesh on Saturday, the government clarified that his statement was not about China or any specific situation. He was speaking purely in the context of Indian civilization and spirituality.
Actually, Doval had said that you say that we did not attack anyone and there are many views on this. But if the country is in danger then we can also attack because it is necessary to save the country. We will fight wherever we feel threatened. We can also fight wars on our own land and enemy's ground, but not just for selfish reasons.
After this, it was claimed in several media reports that Doval said this in the context of China and East Ladakh. After this, an explanation has come from the government. Doval was at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh on Saturday, where he addressed people about the spiritual power of India. During this, he also mentioned Swami Vivekananda.
