A high-level meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuing on Saturday to discuss and review the situation of the second wave of the Kovid-19 pandemic and the issue of vaccination. Earlier on Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi held a meeting to review the supply and availability of oxygen and medicines. The Prime Minister said that free vaccination is being done in government hospitals across the country, so whenever your turn comes, take the vaccine.

He said, 'This horrific epidemic that came after 100 years is taking the test of the world step by step. There is an invisible enemy in front of us. ' He was informed that the government is actively monitoring the supply of drugs under the management of Kovid-19. The third phase of vaccination is still going on in the country. According to the Union Ministry of Health, a total of 18,04,29,261 doses of vaccination have been given till Friday.

It is noteworthy that now the number of patients recovering from four consecutive days has been more than new cases of infection. With this, the number of people who have defeated the Corona epidemic has also crossed two crores. After the increase of two days, the number of active cases has also fallen by more than 30 thousand and their number has come down to 37 lakhs.

According to data received by the states and union territories till late Friday night, 3,26,014 new cases have been received across the country in the last 24 hours, 3,52,850 patients have been cured and 3,876 more have died. With this, the number of total infected has crossed two crores 43 lakh 72 thousand. Out of these, over 20 million 26 thousand patients have been cured and 3,66,229 patients have lost their lives so far. There have been 36,69,537 active cases.
