Two drug dealers arrested by the NCB in connection with the investigation into the narcotics case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput filed a bail plea in a Mumbai court on Saturday.
Both the accused Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar are currently in the custody of the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB). Counsel Tarak Syed filed for bail challenging the NCB custody.
Earlier NCB has told the court that both the accused have named many people in their statements and they have custody to trace the leader of this drug gang.
Rajput's girlfriend actress Riya Chakraborty is the main accused in the 34-year-old actor's death case and is being investigated by three agencies, the CBI, Enforcement Directorate (ED), and NCB.
The NCB has also arrested Rhea's brother Shouvik Chakraborty and Rajput house manager Samuel Miranda.
