The case of the indecency of Mumbai Police officers has taken political form along with Bihar Police who went to Mumbai to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. Questions are being raised on the Mumbai Police after Bihar officials were not allowed to talk to the media. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray himself has intervened in this matter. Uddhav Thackeray, taking a stern stance, said not to do politics on this matter. Mumbai Police is not disabled.
If anyone has any evidence, they can bring it to us and we will interrogate the culprits and punish them. Please do not use this case as an excuse to create a dispute between Maharashtra and Bihar. But let us tell you that former Maharashtra Chief Minister Fadnavis said that there is a 'huge public sentiment' to hand over the investigation of the case to the CBI but the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of the state is not doing so.
He said, 'People have a lot of feelings in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. They feel that something is being hidden, there are new revelations. Therefore, people are demanding a CBI inquiry into it. ' Fadnavis said, "But the state government is denying a CBI inquiry into the case." Earlier, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh also said that the Mumbai Police is capable of investigating the case and hence there is no need for a CBI inquiry. On the other hand, Sushant's family, fans, and several senior BJP leaders are demanding that the CBI be investigated.
