Actor Sonu Sood has pledged to financially support more than 400 families of migrant laborers killed and injured in the lockdown enforced by the Corona virus.
The actor of the movie Dabangg liaised with officials of various states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand and took the address and bank details of the migrant laborers who lost their lives in the lockdown.
Sood said in a statement, "I have decided to help for the safe future of the families of the migrants killed or injured." I think it is my personal responsibility to help them. "Sood is arranging transportation to transport thousands of migrants to their home states.
Last month, the actor arranged for chartered planes to help send more than 300 migrant workers to the home state.
