Anurag Kashyap is facing charges of sexual abuse these days. Actress Payal Ghosh alleged that Anurag Kashyap called her to her house and misbehaved with her which made her uncomfortable. He claimed that after protesting, Anurag told him that many actresses including Richa Chadha, Huma Qureshi, and Mahi Gill were comfortable with him. Richa Chadha has resorted to legal action after her name came up and sent a legal notice to Payal Ghosh.
Richa Chadha had sent a hard copy of the legal notice earlier also but Payal Ghosh refused to take it, after which he sent a soft copy. Richa told on social media that 'Legal notice has been sent to Miss Ghosh. There was a gathering of journalists at her house last evening where she was giving interviews but the person sent by the lawyer was stopped at the gate. For this reason, a soft copy has been sent. Thank you all for your support. '
In her legal notice, Richa wrote that 'I want justice for every woman. But no woman can be abused by her freedom for making unfounded, non-existent, false, and baseless allegations against other women. '
Payal Ghosh's FIR not registered
Payal Ghosh had also reached the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai to register an FIR against Anurag Kashyap on Monday, but his FIR could not be lodged. According to media reports, when the FIR was not filed, the actress's lawyer Nitin Satpute said, "There was no female officer to record the statement at the police station." The jurisdiction of the police station was also not being determined as the incident took place under the jurisdiction of the Versova police station.
What did Anurag say on Payal's charge?
Anurag Kashyap responded by tweeting on Payal's sexual exploitation. He wrote, 'What's the matter, it took so much time to try to silence me. Come on, no one. While silencing me, he lied so much that as a woman, he dragged other women along. Be a little modest, madam. Just say that all your allegations are baseless.
