Bihar's Nitish government has recommended a CBI probe to investigate the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Earlier, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar spoke on the phone to BJP MLA Neeraj Bablu on Monday night, cousin of Sushant Singh Rajput. The two talked for about 10 minutes, in which Nitish Kumar had taken a complete update from Neeraj Bablu on the Sushant case.
Talking to Aaj Tak, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that I spoke to Sushant Singh Rajput's father. He demanded a CBI inquiry. Based on their demand, the Bihar government will recommend a CBI inquiry. All paperwork will be done by this evening. Only after the father's suggestion could the CBI recommend a probe. Today, CBI will send the recommendation of investigation to the center. When the FIR was registered, Bihar Police sent a team to investigate it. We are all trying.
However, there is no support from Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government, the police was informed, then the Bihar police had reached there, but how was an IPS officer quarantined. This is not good behavior, but still, the Bihar Police was constantly under investigation. We had proposals coming from all around for a CBI inquiry, this is natural. If the CBI investigates, then the scope will increase. But if we were to say to ourselves then we do not know what the impact would be. But if Sushant's father wants then we will recommend. And today, Sushant's father talked to us. We will momentarily recommend a CBI inquiry.
