The Broadcast Audience Research Council, ie BARC, has analyzed in last week's TV programs that Amitabh Bachchan's film 'Suryavansham' is still the center of attraction for viewers who spend the film. The film was successful in making it to the top 5 of the films seen on premium channels and this is despite the fact that the IPL has become a rage on television these days.
Among the films shown on TV in the country, the pan is still the weight of those films which are basically South Indian films and have been dubbed in the Hindi language. IPL is also aired on movie channels, so the TRP report of all the movie channels of the past week shows that the highest number of Hindi movies channels have seen IPL on Star Gold. After this, only South Indian films dominated all the channels. The second and fourth numbers on Sony Max were surrounded by 'Action' and 'KGF Chapter 1' respectively. At the same time, the film 'Sarainodu' aired on Dhinchak channel, and Balakrishna's film 'Simba' took the third and fifth position respectively.
If you compare the movies that are being broadcast on the free to air movie channels, then the drabbest channels are being watched. The four films aired on this channel took the top four spots. The first place was 'Sarinodu', the second was 'Simba', third was 'The Fighter Man Singham 2' and the fourth was 'Odia'. The fifth place was won by Sunny Deol's film Gadar - Ek Prem Katha, which aired on G Anmol Cinema.
But, the real test of the fame of cinema is the TRP rating of those channels which people watch by paying money i.e. paid movie channels. Star Gold proved to be among the programs aired on them. The IPL was the most-watched. After this, Sony Max kept all four places with itself. 'Action', 'KGF Chapter 1', 'Suryavansham', and 'Madam Geeta Rani' made their appearances in second, third, fourth, and fifth places respectively.
Regarding 'Suryavansham', even though Sony Max is always the target of the makers of mimes, but the reality is that the channel also broadcasts this film only because people watch it. The charm of Amitabh Bachchan's nearly 20-year-old film is still intact and people favor the film equally among the pictures released across the country. The audience still finds the film as entertaining as it used to be.
