The big news is coming out about 100, 10, and 5 rupee notes. Reserve Bank of India General Manager B Mahesh has said that the RBI is working on a plan to withdraw the series of these old notes. However, RBI has not yet given any official statement regarding this.
According to the money control news, B Mahesh said this in the District Level Security Committee meeting. New notes of 100 rupees, 10 rupees, and 5 rupees have now come in circulation, so even if the old notes are closed, there will be no problem with this.
Reserve Bank of India has said that people had a lot of trouble during the time of demonetization, then this time RBI will ensure that the old notes are in circulation as many new notes come in the market, so that people do not have any problem.
The RBI keeps withdrawing old notes from time to time and issuing new notes. This is done so that fake currency can be controlled.
