Brakes are still not being applied to rising petrol and diesel prices. Government oil companies have raised petrol and diesel prices for the 11th consecutive day.
Government oil companies on Friday increased the price of diesel by 33 -35 paise and the price of petrol by 30 -31 paise. Due to the ever-increasing petrol prices, it has crossed Rs 90 per liter for the first time in the national capital Delhi.
Today, petrol in Delhi has increased to Rs 90.19 while diesel has been increased to Rs 80.60 per liter. At the same time, in Mumbai, which is called the financial capital of the country, petrol is being sold at Rs 96.62 and diesel at Rs 87.67 per liter.
In Kolkata, diesel has become 84.19 rupees and petrol 91.41 liters. The price of diesel in Chennai has been increased to 85.63 per liter and petrol to Rs 92.25 per liter.
