Today, the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the stock market closed on the green mark. After the day's volatility, the Bombay Stock Exchange's major index Sensex closed at 52,484.67, up 166.07 points (0.32 percent). On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 15,722.20 with a gain of 42.20 points, or 0.27 percent. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 580.59 points or 1.10 percent.



BSE resolves 192 investor complaints against listed companies

The country's leading stock exchange BSE on Friday said it has resolved 192 investor complaints against 141 listed companies in the month of June. BSE said in a statement that it has disposed of 170 complaints against active companies and 22 against suspended companies. In June, BSE received 232 complaints against 172 companies. The BSE said that out of the total complaints received by it, 219 were against active companies and 13 against suspended companies.

Talking about the big stocks, today the shares of Divis Lab, Reliance, ICICI Bank, Coal India, and Tata Consumer closed on the green mark. On the other hand, shares of Britannia, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Power Grid, and Grasim closed on the red mark.

Keeping an eye on the sectoral index

Looking at the sectoral index, today PSU Bank, Metal, FMCG, and Auto closed on the red mark. Whereas pharma, IT, realty, media, financial services, banks, and private banks were on the green mark.

The market capitalization of six of the top 10 companies of Sensex increased last week

Last week, the market capitalization (market cap) of six of the top 10 Sensex companies increased by Rs 1,11,220.5 crore. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys were the top gainers during this period. TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI Bank, and State Bank of India (SBI) gained market capitalization in the week under review. On the other hand, the market valuation of Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Bajaj Finance, and Kotak Mahindra Bank declined.

The market was open on the green mark

The Sensex opened at 52360.52 with a gain of 41.92 points (0.08 percent) in early trade. On the other hand, the Nifty was up 17.70 points (0.11 percent) and opened at the level of 15697.70.

The stock market closed on the red mark on Thursday. After the day's volatility, the Sensex closed at 52,318.60, down 164.11 points (0.31 percent). On the other hand, Nifty closed at 15,680.00, down 41.50 points, or 0.26 percent.
