Stock market: Sensex loses today after four days fast, Nifty also closed on the red mark


Today, on the second trading day of the week i.e. Tuesday, the stock market closed on the red mark. Earlier, the stock market had gained momentum in the last four consecutive business days. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex closed down 340.60 points, or 0.69 percent, at 49,161.81. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange's Nifty closed at 14,850.75, down 91.60 points, or 0.61 percent. The BSE Sensex gained 424.11, or 0.86 percent, based on 30 shares in the previous week.

6,44,760.45 crore assets of investors increased in the last four days

The assets of investors had increased by Rs 6,44,760.45 crore in the last four days. The Sensex has gained 1,248.90 points or 2.58 percent in the last four trading sessions. Meanwhile, the market capitalization of listed companies on the Bombay Stock Exchange rose by Rs 6,44,760.45 crore to Rs 2 crore 13 lakh 28 thousand 685 crores 05 lakh in four trading sessions from May 5 onwards.

State of heavy stock

Talking about the big stocks, today the shares of Coal India, NTPC, IOC, ONGC, and BPCL closed on the green mark. Hindalco, JSW Steel, Kotak Bank, Divis Lab, and HDFC shares closed at the red mark.

Sectoral index tracking

If we look at the sectoral index, today PSU Bank, Realty, Auto, and Media closed on the green mark. Pharma, private bank, IT, FMCG, metal, pharma, bank, and financial services are on the red mark.

This week, the market will be determined by these factors

Economic data, including the condition of Coronavirus infection, financial results of companies, and industrial production, will determine the market move this week. Due to the holiday this week, the market will be trading for four days. Apart from this, the global trend and rupee fluctuations will also have an impact on market sentiment. Domestic stock markets will remain closed on Thursday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Last week, eight of the top 10 companies of Sensex gained

The market capitalization of eight of the 10 most valuable companies in the country increased by Rs 81,250.83 crore combined last week. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was the biggest gainer in this. Last week, only Reliance Industries Ltd and Infosys lost in terms of market capitalization.
