Today, the second trading day of the week i.e. on Tuesday, the stock market closed on the edge after the day's ups and downs. The Bombay Stock Exchange's flagship index Sensex closed at 58,247.09 with a gain of 69.33 points (0.12 percent). On the other hand, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange closed at 17,380.00 with a gain of 24.70 points (0.14 percent). Last week, the BSE 30-share Sensex was up 175.12 points or 0.30 percent.
Strong rise in the share of IRCTC
The stock of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has been closing up five percent since the last few days. This has benefited the investors a lot. IRCTC's stock has increased by 1000 in the last month. The share of Avenue Super Mart is also gaining momentum. It increased by Rs 500 in a month. It is estimated that the share of IRCTC can go up to the level of 5,100. IRCTC has entered the top 100 companies in terms of market position. In just one year, IRCTC's stock has given three times profit. Today it closed at 3737.15, up 300.90 points (+8.76 percent) on the BSE. The market capitalization of the company is Rs 59,794.40 crore.
Entry of two more shares in the stock market
Shares of specialty chemical maker Amy Organics and healthcare chain Vijaya Diagnostic Center became listed in the market today. Shares of Amy Organics got listed at a premium of about 48 percent against the issue price of Rs 610. It started at Rs 902 on BSE. The stock of Vijaya Diagnostics got listed at 542.30 against Rs 531, with a premium of two percent.
Zomato's COO resigns, the company's stock rises marginally
Gaurav Gupta, chief operating officer (COO) of Zomato, which provides menus of various restaurants on its platform apart from delivery, has resigned. He joined the company in 2015 and was made COO in 2018. It is known that Zomato had decided to stop the delivery of grocery items only yesterday. After this, the stock of Zomato closed 0.63 percent higher at 144.10 on BSE today. It opened at the level of 145.25 in early trade. At present, the market capitalization of the company is Rs 1,12,892.14 crore.

Talking about the big stocks, after the day's trading, the shares of IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, Hero MotoCorp, Adani Ports, and Tata Motors closed on the green mark. On the other hand, Nestle India, HDFC, UltraTech Cement, BPCL, and Tata Steel closed on the red mark.

Looking at the sectoral index, today Metal, FMCG, and Finance Service closed on the red mark. On the other hand, Media, IT, Auto, Bank, Private Bank, PSU Bank, Pharma, and Realty closed on the green mark.
The market was open on the green mark in the early trade
The stock market opened on the green mark in early trade. The Sensex opened at 58427.65 with a gain of 249.89 points (0.43 percent). The Nifty opened at the level of 17410 with a gain of 54.70 points (0.32 percent).
Sensex-Nifty closed on the red mark on Monday
On Monday, the stock market closed on the red mark after the day's volatility. At the end of trading, the Sensex closed at 58,177.76 with slippage of 127.31 points, or 0.22 percent. At the same time, Nifty weakened by 13.95 points or 0.08 percent to reach the level of 17,355.30.
