On the last trading day of the week i.e. Friday, the stock market opened with a fall. The BSE's main index Sensex opened by 216.86 points, or 0.45 percent, at the level of 47,873.81, while the Nifty declined. The Nifty was down 79.80 points, or 0.55 percent, at 14,326.35.
