The beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme are waiting for the eighth installment. The central government can release the eighth of this scheme and the first installment of the current financial year at any time. This will provide financial assistance to crores of farmers of the country amidst the second wave of Kovid-19. The central government releases the first installment in every financial year between April to July, the second between August and November, and the third installment between December and March. In this way, the government sends a total of six thousand rupees to the farmers in three equal installments (two-two thousand rupees) every financial year.
If you are the beneficiary of the PM Kisan Scheme, then you can check the status of every installment sitting at home. You can do this very easily through PM Farmer's portal or app.
Let's know the step-by-step process
- Log on to the official website of the PM Kisan Scheme https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Here you have to click on 'Beneficiary Status' in 'Farmers Corner'.
- After this, choose one of the options from the Aadhaar Number, Account Number, and Mobile Number.
- Now enter the number you have selected.
- After this, click on Get Data.
- If the information given by you is found correct, then a page will open in front of you.
On this page, your name will be seen, the last four digits of the mobile number, the last four digits of the Aadhaar number. Also, the district, village, last digit of account number and IFSC code, registration number as well as other details will be seen. Along with this, the status of each installment, the name of the bank, the last four digits of the account in which the amount has been credited, the date of credit, and the UTR number will appear.
On checking the status under PM Kisan Scheme, you can see it written in the status of the recently released installment - 'FTO is generated and payment confirmation is pending'.
Now you can get worried about what this means. So let us explain its implications. Actually, when it comes written in the status, it means that your details have been checked by the government, including your 12-digit Aadhaar number, bank account number, and a payment order has been issued.
FTO here means fund transfer order. However, payment has been made from this, it is not known. But if these eight words are coming written in your status, then it means that soon the payment will be made by the government and the amount will come into your account.
