At the same time, diesel in Sriganganagar is only 50 paise away from Rs 100 a liter. Petrol became costlier by Rs 5.24 per liter in just 22 days after May 4. Earlier, diesel has become costlier by Rs 5.17 per liter in 20 days. The notification for elections in five states was issued on 26 February. After this, state-owned oil companies last increased the price of diesel by 17 paise per liter on 27 February 2021. After this, there was no increase in its price for more than two months.
