Due to the ever-increasing prices of petrol and diesel in the country, people are facing inflation. The price of both these fuels has also increased for the ninth consecutive day on Wednesday.
In the national capital Delhi, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 25 paise. After this, the price per liter of petrol here has been Rs 89.54. While diesel has also been increased to Rs 79.95 per liter. In Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, petrol has been increased to Rs 100.07 per liter.
Petrol is being sold at Rs 96.00 and diesel at Rs 86.97 per liter in Mayanagari Mumbai. Petrol 92.48 and diesel 84.72 in Bangalore, Petrol 91.73 and Diesel 85.05 in Chennai and Petrol 90.79 and Diesel in Kolkata are being sold at Rs 83.54 per liter. The rise in prices of petrol and diesel is being attributed to the rise in the price of crude oil in the international market.
