The prices of both these fuels have not changed for the fifth consecutive day. Prices were increased for two consecutive days after the prices of petrol and diesel remained stable for 29 days. That is, on January 6 and 7, prices had increased for the last time. Since then, prices are stable.
Petrol in Delhi today costs Rs 84.20 and diesel Rs 74.38 per liter. At the same time, petrol is being sold at Rs 90.83 and diesel at Rs 81.07 per liter in Mumbai, the financial capital of the country. In Kolkata also, there has not been an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol here costs Rs 85.68 and diesel Rs 77.97 per liter.
Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 86.96 and diesel at Rs 79.72 per liter. Today, in Bangalore also petrol is priced at Rs 87.04 per liter and diesel is priced at Rs 78.87 per liter. Petrol is being sold in Lucknow at Rs 83.98 and diesel at Rs 74.74 per liter. Significantly, the price of petrol and diesel in the country is fixed daily at 6 am.
