Gold and silver prices recorded weakness as soon as the market opened on Monday. Gold was trading at Rs 45362.00 per 10 gram on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on 05-4-2021 at around 10.30 am. Silver was trading at Rs 64885 per kg, down by Rs 204.00.
The price of 22 carats 10 grams of gold in Delhi has gone up to 44,410 as against 44,400 yesterday. At the same time, the price of 24 carats 10 grams of gold today is Rs 48,450 compared to 48,440 yesterday.
In the spot market, the price of gold has broken more than 22 percent from its record high. In August 2020, the spot price of gold in the Delhi bullion market reached the mark of Rs 57008 per 10 gram. This is the highest level of gold ever. Now in the spot market, the price of gold has broken 22 percent.
