On Friday, gold prices in the bullion market closed at Rs 65 and silver by Rs 298. According to HDFC Securities, the impact of the boom in the international market has been shown on the domestic market.
Gold rose by Rs 65 to Rs 49,551 per 10 grams, while silver rose by Rs 298 to Rs 61,232 per kg.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold futures delivered in December rose by Rs 76, or 0.15 percent, to Rs 50,068 per 10 grams.
In the international market, gold was at 1,868 and silver at $ 24.15 an ounce. Gold rose 0.22 percent to $ 1,865.66 an ounce in New York.
