Sonography is the only way to find out the sex of an unborn baby. Because of the increasing cases of female feticide, the government has banned it. But you will be surprised to hear that there is also a hill that tells about this if the infant boy or girl is growing in the womb. People in Khukhara village of Lohardaga in Jharkhand use this unique method of checking the sex of an unborn child. In which one does not have to spend a single penny.
There is this unwavering faith in the people about this hill named Pajhari, on which a moon-like shape is built, which tells about the child in the womb whether it is a boy or a girl. It is being told that this mountain has been telling people about their future for the last 400 years. According to local people, a pregnant woman stands from a certain distance and shoots stones towards the moon on this hill. If the stone hits the centre of the moon, it is believed that there is a boy in the womb and if that stone is placed outside the moon, it is believed that the girl will be born.
Now we do not know how much truth is there in this thing, but people living there have an unwavering respect for this hill.
