There is only a short time left for the new year. In such a situation, many automakers have announced to launch their powerful cars in the new year. The country's four-wheeler manufacturer Tata Motors is also not far behind in this race. According to media reports, the company is gearing up to launch two new cars in the Indian market. The company has decided to launch both these cars at the beginning of next year i.e. January.

Tata Gravitas SUV: This car is a big version of the Harrier. Although the wheelbase of the Gravitas will be the same as the Harrier, its length and height will increase by 63 mm and 80 mm respectively. This SUV has a 3-row seating arrangement. Apart from this, some minor and major changes have been made inside and outside to separate it from the 5 seater harrier. This SUV has a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine, which is also seen in the Harrier.

Tata Altroz Turbo: The company's second car launched in January is Tata Altroz. According to reports, this premium hatchback will get a new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with a manual gearbox. It will have a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will be capable of generating 108bhp of power and 140Nm of torque. It is similar to the Revotron engine given in Tata's Nexon. There will be no change in the looks of Altrose. The Altro will compete directly with the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the market.

Let me tell you, in addition to these two vehicles, Tata Motors is also preparing to bring its HBX based mini SUV. According to reports, the company can also launch the Tata Harrier petrol variant this year.
