Datsun (Datsun) has launched the new 2020 Datsun Redi-GO facelift (2020 Ready-Go facelift) model, the cheapest car in the Indian car market. This entry-level hatchback car competes with cars like the Maruti Suzuki Alto and Renault Kwid in India. When compared to the power of Maruti Suzuki Alto, Renault Kwid, and Datsun Redi-GO, Maruti Suzuki Alto gets 796cc, 3 cylinder engine. This engine generates 47.3 hp of power at 6000 Rpm and torque of 69 Nm at 3500 rpm. The engine of this car has a 5-speed manual gearbox. At the same time, the Renault Kwid has a 799cc engine that generates 54 hp power at 5678 rpm and 72 Nm torque at 4386 rpm.
Whereas the Datsun Redi-GO facelift gets 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter petrol engines like the old model. The new car has engines with BS6 fuel emission standards. The 0.8-liter engine generates 54 bhp of power at 5,600 rpm and 72 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. While the 1.0-liter engine generates 67 bhp of power at 5,550 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. Both engines have a 5-speed manual gearbox standard. While the 1.0-liter engine also gets the option of 5-speed AMT.
In terms of economical, these cars have the highest mileage. So Maruti Suzuki Alto gives a mileage of 22.05 kilometers per liter. The Renault Kwid gives a mileage of 22.7 kmpl. While the 0.8-liter engine of the new Datsun Redi-GO has a mileage of 20.71 kilometers per liter. At the same time, the 1.0-liter engine gets 21.7 kilometers per liter mileage with the manual gearbox and 22 kilometers per liter with the AMT gearbox.
In the entry-level segment, customers value the price of the car very much. The ex-showroom price of Maruti Suzuki Alto starts at Rs 2,94,800. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the Renault Kwid starts at Rs. 2.92 lakhs. While the ex-showroom price of 2020 Datsun Redi-GO facelift starts at Rs. 2.83 lakhs.
