South Korean automaker Kia Motors entered India with Seltos. After which Sonet was launched as a sub-compact SUV last year. Right now Kia Motors has announced that it will strengthen its footing in India with the official launch of the new logo and at least three vehicles will be launched in this order.
For information, let India be the first country in the country, apart from the company's domestic market, South Korea, where Kia has decided to update its brand with the new logo. The Celtics and Sonnet SUVs account for nearly 90 percent of the company's total sales, according to an announcement made live on social media by the company, and the facelifted versions of both vehicles will be launched early next month.
The new model is expected to get an updated design and some technical upgrades. Kia India stated that it will expand its network in India to 350 touchpoints which will be spread across more than 200 cities and towns across the country. At the same time, the company is ready with a plan to launch 11 electric vehicles in the next five years. Seven of which will be entirely new electric vehicles.
In a digital program today, the Korean carmaker also highlighted that it has currently emerged as the fourth-best-selling car brand in India, achieving 2,50,000 units of sales in the country so far. The first is also a car manufacturer. According to Kia India, the company sells a car every two minutes to customers in India. For the moment it remains to be seen what changes the company incorporates in the new Seltos and Sonet.
