Skoda India has recently introduced its new mid-size SUV for the Indian market. This car was first showcased by the company at the Auto Expo last year. Which was named Vision in Concept. It is based on the MQB A0 IN platform and is also the first car to be built under the Volkswagen Group's India 2.0 strategy. Similar design to other vehicles of the company: In the video that surfaced, the company starts with the signature front grille. Along with this, Skoda has given chrome garnish or border around the grill to give a premium feel. Along with this, sharp and slick headlamps are also seen in it. At the same time, crystalline LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs have been given.
Overall, the design of this car is not much different from other vehicles of the company. LED split LED taillights are provided in the rear, which is now a common practice in almost every car. The reflector has been given dual-tone treatment under the tail lamp and the rear bumper. Which has silver skid fox skid plates at the bottom. It also gets large 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that give the car a premium look.
2 petrol engines will be available: tell us for information, Skoda has also stopped all its diesel engines. That is, Kushak will be offered only two petrol engine options. It will have a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that generates 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque. This engine will be equipped with a manual gearbox. Along with this, the company will also give the option of a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine in it. Which generates a power of 150 Ps and a torque of 250 Nm. This engine will come with 7-speed DSG and 6-speed manual gearbox.
A glimpse of the interior: The video does not place much emphasis on the interior but the company will offer a premium cabin given the demand of the segment. It has Ambient Lighting, Door Sill Light, Mobile Pocket, Wireless Phone Charger, Ventilated Front Seats, Touchscreen Infotainment Screen, Digital Instrument Cluster, etc. Kushak has also been given safety features like ABS, EBD.
