The company has already revealed that it will re-launch the Renault 4 as the Renault 4ever EV. The Renault R5 will also be revived as an all-electric avatar. Let us tell you that the French brand had teased the Renault R5 EV in January this year and now its prototype has recently been revealed. Talking about the launch, the production model of this EV is expected to be launched in 2024.

The company's iconic Renault 5 electric car was first launched in 1972 and was one of the best-selling cars in the world until 1980. After this car, the company included models like 5 Gordini and 5 Turbo GT in its lineup. On the other hand, if we talk about the upcoming EV launched by the company, then it can be inspired by the design of the second-generation R5. Which was sold between 1984 and 1996 as the Renault Supercinq.
The company has not yet shared the powertrain details about the R5. But it is believed that in this car, the company will use the same electric technology as its popular EV Zoe. A 50kWh battery pack will be used in the Renault Zoe. Which will give a driving range of about 394 km per charge.
