On Thursday, Ola Electric has said that it is going to launch its electric scooter in the Indian market in July 2021. Yes, now Ola's high-range electric scooter will be available for customers from July. It has also been said by the company that it is also preparing a hyper charger network for charging this scooter which will have one lakh charging points that will be spread across 400 cities.


Last year, Ola announced that it was going to set up the first electric scooter factory in Tamil Nadu with an investment of 24:00 hundred crores. The construction of this factory will generate about 10,000 jobs and will be the world's largest scooter manufacturing facility with 2 million scooters produced every year.


Ola chairman and group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has said that we are going to start this factory in June which will manufacture 2 million scooters. Once the factory is set up, the sale of scooter scooters will be started. The sale of the Ola electric scooter is going to start in July.

Talking about the first year, it will cover 100 cities across the country with 5000 charging points. The recharging network will be so powerful that the Ola electric scooter can be charged up to 50 percent in just 18 minutes, with the help of which this scooter will be able to give a range of 75 km. It is not only very fast but will also charge your electric scooter for less cost.
