New 2020 Datsun Redi GO facelift launched, India's cheapest entry level car, know price and features


The price of the Redi-GO facelift 0.8 D base model starts at Rs 2.83 lakh and the top model Redi-GO 1.0 T (O) AMT has priced at Rs 4.77 lakh.

The new redi-GO has been launched in four variants (D, A, T, T (O)). Ready-Go has come in two petrol engine options as before. It has three engine gearbox options. Compared to the old model, there have been many changes in the look of the 2020 Datsun Redi-GO.

Compared to the pre-facelift model, the price of the entry-level variant has increased by just 3,000. But the price of redi-GO 0.8 T (O) and redi-GO 1.0 T (O) (manual) variants have increased by up to Rs 54,000. The top-model Redi-GO 1.0 T (O) AMT has now become expensive by 40,000.

At this price, the Datsun Redi-GO has become the cheapest entry-level car in the market. Its base variant is marginally lower than both rivals Maruti Alto (Maruti Alto) and Renault Kwid (Renault Kwid). Let us know that the price of the base model of Maruti Alto is Rs 2.95 lakh and the entry-level variant of Renault Kwid is priced at Rs 2.92 lakh. These prices of the car are ex-showroom in Delhi. In the Indian market, the Datsun Redi-GO will compete with cars like Maruti Alto, Renault Kwid, and Maruti S-Preso.


The Datsun Redi-GO facelift gets the same 0.8-liter and 1.0-liter petrol engine as the old model. The new car has engines with BS6 fuel emission standards. The 0.8-liter engine generates 54 bhp of power at 5,600 rpm and 72 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. While the 1.0-liter engine generates 67 bhp of power at 5,550 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. Both engines have a 5-speed manual gearbox standard. While the 1.0-liter engine also gets the option of 5-speed AMT.


The new Datsun Redi-GO's 0.8-liter engine has a mileage of 20.71 kilometers per liter. At the same time, the 1.0-liter engine gets 21.7 kilometers per liter mileage with the manual gearbox and 22 kilometers per liter with the AMT gearbox.

New look

The look of the new Datsun Redi-GO facelift is more stylish and bold than the old model. The new car gets new chrome-finished grille, L-shape LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps, finely smoked headlights. The rear of the car gets new LED taillights and roof spoiler. The design of the front and rear bumpers is also new. The car gets 14-inch wheels and features dual-tone covers.


The interior of Datsun Redi-GO is also getting newness. The cabin of the new car has been given a premium look compared to the old model. The interior of the new Ready-Go is in black color. The dashboard has a silver finish on the width and a chrome finish around the center console. The car gets a 3-spoke steering wheel, front power window, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition and features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, video playback.

Security features

Talking about the safety features found in the car, it has features such as driver-side airbags, ABS, EBD, rear door child safety lock, driver-passenger seat belt reminder, over-speed warning, high mounted stop lamps, and rear parking sensors. Huh. All these features will also be found in the base variant. The top variant also gets a reverse parking camera with passenger-side airbags and a projection guide.


The price of Datsun Redi-GO starts from 2.83 lakhs which goes up to Rs 4.77 lakhs. This car is an ex-showroom price in Delhi. The four variants of the car are available with D, A, T, T (O) 0.8-liter engine. Their price is 2.83 lakh, 3.58 lakh, 3.80 lakh, and 4.16 lakh rupees respectively. The T (O) variant of the car only comes with a 1.0-liter engine. The 1.0-liter engine - the manual model costs Rs 4.44 lakh and the AMT model costs Rs 4.77 lakh.
